It is a truly beautiful and comprehensive book. It is thorough, clear and understandable. The graphics are perfect, too. The problem is that I bought this as a self study. There are lessons and assignments that you can follow along with. On the inside cover there are clear printed instructions. When I went to the listed website, first I had to make an account. I don't particularly appreciate being forced to give my personal information to a commercial site, but I could get over that part. I looked for those files for 2 hours, they were nowhere to be found. I contacted their customer support, you have to be enrolled in a class with an instructor and course number in order to access them. Customer service MIGHT give them to me, but they only work 8-2, so who knows.
Missing last two chapters please be sure you are selling new stuff!

I'm taking a university class that requires this book. I've been working with the Adobe suite for almost 10 years now, and if I didn't already have that experience, I'm not sure I would've survived or understood anything out of the text. This book is confusing. It's unclear. It has atrocious, outdated examples. Do yourself a favor and check out some Lynda.com videos instead. At least there you'll actually get a visual representation of how these programs work instead of a vague textbook approximation.
