Fabulous. Every title is popular with our 2nd and 3rd graders. They are Accelerated Reader leveled. The books have plenty of good information for biography reports for our 2nd graders. The information is accurate and put together in an interesting way and the illustrations running through each book to enhance the story are adorable. This book is wonderful for any little one who wants to become a ballerina or takes dance now. The quality of the paperback is good. These are a "go to" for our students. I have many of them because of this in our school library.
She is great. I bought this to read to my toddler. She cant read it but it is easy and fun for me to read it to her. My daughter also does ballet & is part African American, so it is relatable for her. One day she will be able to read it on her own, but until then I will enjoy reading it to her.
I like the simplicity of it I can read it to my 4 year old as well as my 2nd grade students.
Little one approved. Loves ballet and learning about real people. If that is your intended buyer this is a great book.

Love this series. Bought this to go along with Firebird (her book) and DVD documentary. We'll be doing a whole unit study on Misty Copeland.
My husband and I found it interesting (or rather weird) that some of the serious details of her life were included in what we thought was going to be a lighthearted children's book.
I read the adult version book about Misty Copeland and like it so much that I wanted my granddaughter to have a book about Misty Copeland. She read the entire book and was looking for more. Good stories
