As a native English speaker, currently studying German, this book is an amazing resource! Very comprehensive and easy to follow! I appreciate the effort the author put into the book to explain pronunciation, specific tips/tricks and some cultural background. The phrases and vocabulary are helpful/practical for everyday life and easy to follow. Definitely recommend for purchase if you’re learning the language for school/personal reasons or going for a visit! Worth the investment!

I GIVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS! It is a must have book whether you are traveling to Germany, or learning the language, or just interested in German culture and ways. The author starts you off with the correct way to pronounce the letters and how to achieve a near perfect German accent. He gives you a little history lesson about Germany and it's people and the language itself. He covers every aspect of time and days. He adds parts of the German culture that you would need to know if visiting Germany, or for just interest. The phrases are phenomenal as they cover absolutely every situation you might encounter. He even covers how to argue or give an opinion in German. He covers first aid in case you get hurt, transportation, eating out, hotels, and if you were to get robbed. He doesn't miss a trick with the phrases and information he provides in this must have book. He even covers what people do for a living, and the names of all businesses and buildings in a city. Whether you are a student of the German language, planning a trip to Germany, or just interested in learning more about Germany, this is definitely your go-to, must-have book!
This book is indeed very helpful, all the essential phrases and words are included and you can search them by topics. For me a very big plus was that explanations are in English, so for those, who know English and are learning German now, i believe it's the best book. Glad i got it, really helped me improve my german.
