I have purchased many books on the subject of English grammar and usage; all of them have one major flaw in common. The scope of the information provided in each book is greatly limited, incomplete, and asymmetrical.My attempts to understand and master the various elements of the English language were hampered because I had to piece together the information from a multitude of books on the subject.This book, however, provides the most complete information on the subject. The author presents the information in a simple and straight manner. I now have a greater understanding and command of the English language. To the author, I say thank you.Sincerely, Terry Head
This is the perfect book for middle school English teachers. It covers all aspects of grammar and makes them easy to understand. The book is color-coded by grade and contains a worksheet for each concept.
This product was not what I expected. The amount of practice exercises for each topic covered was insufficient for true mastery. The explanations were too short in length as well. Covering fewer topics in more detail with more practice exercises would have been better.
My son's MS doesn't have grammar lesson but it's one of the topics in HS entrance exam. He does one or two lessons a day and it's been helpful. Lesson is short so it's not added stress on top of the HW.
I got this for my granddaughter as a Christmas gift. Seems well written and helpful to me, but more importantly, my granddaughter says she loves it! She likes English anyway, but she told me it has great information and has helped her already. Would highly recommend.
Good. My girl says she likes this book. It's good for learning grammar. However, there are some questions I can't understand the answer. There is no explanation.
Haven’t started studying yet, but checked the book out and it’s what I need to brush up on my English rules.
Good supplement to what my grandson is doing in school.
