And if you are a parent of a tween or teen who loves singing, or she/he is used to being the star in her school, house of worship, or any of the pre-professional programs that have cropped up like locusts in the US over the past 15 years, READ THIS BOOK. You need to have some trusted information if you are really going to support your daugher/son. Reality TV is not reality. Colleges will tell you anything you want to hear to get your child to audition and apply.
